YOUR FREEDOM IS IN A BIKE
If you like cycling, Borgo Moretto is the best place for it. Only a few kilometers from the farm there is a Mincio cycle road, which is 45km long from Peschiera del Garda to Mantova. Long the path you can find a lot of fascinating places such as: Monzambano, Valeggio sul Mincio (with its marvelous park Sigurtà), Borghetto (one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy).
If you leave behind the cycle road you can enjoy the medieval beauty of Castellaro Lagusello. There you will feel the passion of the Renaissance, to be found in its towers, ossuaries and castles, that deserve to be visited.
The cycle road goes through the Mincio regional natural park. It is a protected area that runs along the river, from Lake Garda to the Po river. In addition to the enchanting flora it is also an ideal place for bird watching. Here you can see a lot of birds such as: storks, herons, marsh harriers, peregrines and brown kites.
It has been our decision to live here and to work on the Moretto’s land. This was a completely new thing for me and my family and we have accepted this challenge with great enthusiasm. That is why my family is eager to share our experience with those, who would like to discover nature and its genuineness formed by its rhythms.
We will guide you along the paths of our land with great pleasure. You can always enjoy walks which will fill you with energy or do wonderful cycling routes. At Moretto you are going to have a real “farm” treat, prepared with delicious eggs “delivered” by our farm hens and with vegetables which we grow here.
